We are an authentic Chicago hot dog restaurant that serves your Chicago favorites the way you expect them. We do this in an atmosphere consistent with what you would find if you walked into an old Chicago-style warehouse amped up with a little urban industrial flair. Our food is what Chicagoans dream about when they have to move to another part of the country; yet here in Indianapolis it's available as if you were back home!

     Sit down with a properly-dressed Original Dog, a true Italian Beef, or one of our 100% Angus beef burgers, and spend a few moments relishing what comfort means to you - served by people who are committed to making sure you leave full AND happy.

     Growing up in the Chicagoland area, I relocated to many parts of the country over the years but finally settled in Indianapolis. I always found it hard, if not impossible, to get a true Chicago-style hot dog or Italian beef - even in Indy, just a few hours away from Chicago! Chicago Hot Dog Company was born out of one man's burning desire to make sure the Chicago hot dog was represented correctly in our fair city so that all of the Chicago transplants, and those who have never experienced a Chicago hot dog, have access to a REAL Vienna Beef hot dog served on a steamed poppy seed bun (no ketchup!), or a REAL Italian beef with sweet or hot (giardinara) peppers served on a French roll (no red sauce!).

     We invite you to expand your horizons and try one of our made-from-scratch salads, chicken sandwiches or treat yourself to one of our locally made desserts we feature each week. A Chicago hot dog wouldn't be complete without krinkle cut fries and cheese sauce, so be sure to dip in.

     For those of you who are gluten intolerant - good news! Almost every item on our menu starts out as gluten free and only needs a GF bun substitution, or we can customize your order to meet your dietary restrictions. Please ask your cashier for more information.
